PRINT TALK
Email or phone you local printer for a print quote, whatever you find easiest.
Below is the information they will need to know.

If emailing, copy and paste the following italicised sentence
along with the product icon information, desired quantity and card stock request:
A print ready pdf file to be supplied for a double sided print job,
full colour bleed off the edge so it requires trimming.

For Example:
I would like a quote for (insert quantity) Tribute Cards the specifications are as follows:
A print ready pdf file to be supplied for a double sided print job,
full colour bleed off the edge so it requires trimming.

Printed on a 250-300gsm card stock.
Size information: gathered from the product icon below.

We will supply the printer with a standard print ready pdf file
with 5mm bleed and crop marks so no additional artwork costs will be charged.

YOU CAN GET QUOTES BEFORE FINALISING YOUR ARTWORK
BUT IF YOU HAVE IT, ATTACH THE FILE WHEN REQUESTING THE QUOTE.

CARD STOCK
A decent card stock gives a nice quality feel to the product. We recommend you print onto a 250-300gsm card stock for all product except bookmarks and inserts. As the bookmarks are smaller in size we recommend the thicker card of 350gsm or higher for a nice sturdy product. The insert also doesn't need to be as thick as the order of service so here we suggest a thinner paper stock of approximately 150gsm.
Your printer will have samples for to view if you wish.

QUANTITY
Printers have to factor in equipment setting up time/nesting your job etc.
so in fact the higher quantity you print, the price per piece goes down.
Keep this in mind and perhaps request quotes for different quantites to compare value.

ORDER OR SERVICES
Order of services are an A4 sheet size scored and folded to a finished size of A5.
The extra scoring and folding phase in the production of this product
is why the print costs are higher than other products.

TURNAROUND TIME
Be sure they understand it is for a funeral service so they can't be late.

VARIATION IN COSTS
We recommend to get more than one quote.
Low costs don't mean low quality in the printing game. There are different types of printers machines. For instance a place that specialises in large print runs will quote you a high price because they won't want to slow their productivity down for a small print run of 50 cards. On the other hand you don't want just a basic office printer doing the job, you will know if you call a place with such a limited printer as they won't be able to print to the edge of the paper and can only handle light weights of card stock.
We are looking for a local printer with a production printer, ready and willing to take a short run and short turn around time job. They will give you the most cost effective responses.
